Spiritual Philosophy
With the blessings of god
all mighty father
the creator of heaven and earth
the maker of all living, visible and invisible,
we bring you this music
we call it
the only kind of music
that brings you closer to yourself
and the message in the music
is to make you feel so strong
so let your body move
relax and get into the groove
move your body
move your soul
relax your body
relax your soul
Overview
As technology advances, we inch closer to accurately quantifying spirituality and its mechanisms.
Humans can merely perceive a fraction of the electromagnetic and acoustic spectrum and by exploring spiritual practices we just might be able to expand perception.
One overlap of interest is between creativity/imagination and spiritual inspiration.
I believe it is worth researching the science of spirituality and how its philosophical frameworks can be implemented for positive transformation in mental health and to potentially contribute to various fields of science.
Bubble Universes & Multiverse Theory The concept of a single, all-encompassing universe has given way to theories proposing multiple or even an infinite number of universes—a concept known as the multiverse. At the heart of this theory is the idea of bubble universes. Each "bubble" represents a separate universe, distinct but possibly similar to our own.
“The most beautiful and most profound religious emotion that we can experience is the sensation of the mystical. And this mysticality is the power of all true science. If there is any such concept as a God, it is a subtle spirit, not an image of a man that so many have fixed in their minds.” - Albert Einstein
Mystical Experiences
Mystical Experiences; near-deaths, alien abductions, ego deaths, visions, placebo?, union with the universe, dreams, and other unexplained phenomena, what are they? All of these occurrences fall into two schools of thought for explanation.
Perennialism and constructivism.
Perennialists posit that mystical experiences are indeed a union with everything/ the universal consciousness, or have a common absolute principle that unites them;
while constructivists believe that each experience is simply a cultural notion imposed upon neurological phenomena created by the mysterious mind.
The ineffable nature of these experiences makes them illusive to study but many cultures have used them as opportunities for growth, transformation, and inspiration. Borrowing from the epistemological branch of philosophy, I believe that by exploring one's current perception/ narrative/ philosophical framework we can make our own investigations into the fabric of reality, and potentially tap into something of benefit.
Bhavachakra- wheel of samsara, a symbolic representation of a soul's journey.
- The pig/ox/dog, rooster/pelican, and snake in the hub of the wheel represent the three poisons of ignorance, attachment, and aversion.
Chakras
Chakra means “wheel” and refers to energy points in your body. They are thought to be spinning disks of energy that should stay “open” and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being.
Hermetic Laws were a set of principles studied by esoteric practitioners of some Abrahamic religions.
The five agreements come from Mesoamerican philosophy, the Toltecs.
Elements & Shapes
The platonic solids are incredible, timeless, and fascinating three-dimensional shapes that have been studied and admired by mathematicians and mystics for thousands and thousands of years.
The platonic solids are named after the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, who believed that these sacred geometrical figures represented the fundamental building blocks of our universe.
The principles of Burning Man reflect it's ideal cultural morals and it serves as an ideal our current society may be able to use for growth.
Comparing and contrasting the Christian and Satanic beliefs, they don't seem too different, the left being a civilized ideal, while the right being more of a post-apocolyptic survivior guideline.
